Description: |
This series of lectures has been designed for English teachers who have an interest in extending their knowledge of the English language through the lenses of applied and socio-linguistics. It will appeal to anyone with an interest in language who would like to develop this area of their curriculum, as well as to teachers of VCE English Language. Each session consists of a lecture and practical activities which will provide teachers with an opportunity to discuss the topic and to undertake exercises that consolidate and challenge.
