2024 VCE English Mini-method

VATE’s Mini-Method program supports educators with the teaching of each of the VCE Englishes: English, English as an Additional Language, Literature, and English Language. Each Mini-Method is suitable for those teaching VCE Englishes for the first time, those looking for a refresher, and more experienced teachers who are seeking to understand the explicit differences between the former and new Study Designs and how this impacts their teaching practice.

To support VATE members’ access to the 2024 Mini-Method program, all sessions will be available as on-demand pre-recorded lectures available to view on a device of your choosing at a time that is convenient for you. Each Unit will be explored across two 75-90 minute lectures relevant to each Area of Study. Details of how to access the lectures will be available at the time of purchase and access will be granted until 31 December 2024.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be emailed to events@vate.org.au. Cancellations received by 12pm five working days prior to the event date will be charged a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations received after this will receive NO REFUND. Registrations can, however, be transferred to another staff member. Please email events@vate.org.au the details. If you do not attend and have not notified VATE according to the above policy, you will receive no refund.  Please note: If this event is cancelled due to COVID government or venue restrictions, you will receive a full refund.
