Teacher Inclusion Scholarship

To ensure that the VATE State Conference is accessible to as many English teachers as possible, two scholarships are available to help remove the financial barriers for eligible applicants. The 2024 Teacher Inclusion Scholarships were generously sponsored by VATE and Fremantle Press. The recipients of the 2024 scholarships were Mariam Hussein, Al-Taqwa College, and Gabrielle Eckhardt, Camperdown College. Information about the 2025 Teacher Inclusion Scholarship will be emailed to members when the conference program is launched in Term 3.

Marion Meiers Scholarship

VATE offers two scholarships for two teachers to attend the National AATE/ALEA conference to be in July every year. These scholarships are intended for teachers who are prepared to make a strong commitment to supporting the activities of VATE into the future.
